This is the beginning of a movement aimed at the exploration, (re)discovery and understanding of Islam and Muslims within the 21st century. It is a welcoming to every individual mind to participate in what defines and distinguishes Muslims among societies across the globe with an unbiased and unadulterated information base, beginning with the core source of Islam: the Qur’an, and then further moving onto traditions of Muhammad – the Messenger of Islam, the lineage of Islamic scholarship and then finally with Muslim citizens through history and their experiences.
Our goal is very simple: we seek truth, as we are believers of truth and the beauty of truth that defines existence. This is purposeful; we only want to know the reality of an Islamic education, it’s history and it’s influences upon Muslims and non-Muslims alike of today, as well as what it means to the future of Islam in generations to come. The central aspect of this challenge will revolve around a purity of knowledge and the wisdom one can attain from that information. And, while Islam is notoriously known for it’s various group divisions, sections and schools of thought, and political exchanges as a result of those splits, we will strive to ensure that no grand secular positions taint the essential Message.
We are at the height of exposure as Muslims unto humanity. Therefore, it becomes the duty of Muslims to allow the light of spirituality to pass through them, becoming a lamp among the dust storms and chaos, and to shed light upon the matters of truth, goodness and peace.
